:: Welcome to Cleft Palate Cuties! ::

Why Cleft Palate Cuties? Because our babies are just as cute to us as any parent’s baby is to them! My hope is to provide some personal insights, as well as some helpful tips and resources for other cleft palate parents and families. I am hoping to eventually create a network of personal sites of such families, so if you are a cleft palate family and you would like join with me, please email at the link at the bottom of this page!

Did you know that cleft palates occur in about 1 in 700 babies, making it one of the most common birth defects? It is also more inherent in males. As birth defects go, it is a pretty good one to have. Technology has come so far these days, that cleft repair is almost indistinguishable!
