An Army wife would quickly go insane if it wasn't for her fellow Army wives. And no one understands an Army wife better than another Army wife going through the same ups and downs. They become family and there is a bond there that is hard to explain.
Your fellow Army wives are going to be the ones keep you together. It is your friends that you can call in the middle of the night when you have heard something on CNN that scares the crap out of you. It is your friends that will back you up when you have to be in 10 places at once and there are kids involved. It is your friends that will loan you $$ to get you to pay day when your soldier's pay gets messed up. It is your friends that understand when you get teary about stupid, irrational stuff while your soldier is deployed. It is your friends that keep you sane.
It is so hard when your friends go, or you do. But it is a part of the life, and sometimes, one of the hardest parts. But you do it because you have to. Thank goodness for IM, email and phones!
